Built with high quality double shielded 26 AWG cable for dependable operation over extended distances. This 8-pin (MD8) connector's diameter is about 1/2in. As a reference, type 5C keyboards have hard-wired MD8 cables; type 5 and type 4 keyboards have totally removable MD8 cables.
