The Port Authority Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Card from Cables To Go is your link to the highest USB speeds available. The 6-port card upgrades desktop computers to the new USB 2.0 standard. With its four external and two internal ports, it is designed to work with mice, keyboards, CD-R/RW's, hard drives, webcams, flash card readers and other USB enabled devices. The Port Authority Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Card can transfer data at 480 Megabits per second, making it 40 times faster than previous USB adapters and 20% faster than Firewire. The USB card is USB-IF certified and is backwards compatible with USB 1.0 and 1.1 devices. The Port Authority Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Card includes drivers for Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, Me, 98SE, 98 and Macintosh OS X. The plug and play design makes for easy, trouble-free installation of the card and your USB devices.
